About the Festival

Hope Music Festival (HopeFest) is a contemporary Christian music festival held to raise funds for Camp Grier, a Christian children's camp nestled in the hills of western North Carolina.

2012 is HopeFest's inaugural year — the launch, we trust, of an annual event that will grow into a fixture on the Charlotte events calendar and the tour lists of regional Christian bands both large and small.

Bands, singers, songwriters, and other musicians from throughout the Christian music community are invited to join us April 28, 2012, at Sardis Presbyterian Church in Charlotte, NC, for a day of live music, fun family activities, worship, and the joy of fellowship — all capped by a Battle of the Bands that will determine the 2012 HopeFest Band of the Year.

Sign your band up! If you as a band, musical group, or individual artist would like to participate in the HopeFest Battle of the Bands, register below. You will be contacted by the festival organizers to confirm your registration.

The $50 registration fee must be post-marked by March 30, 2012 or your band may be unable to compete. See the mailing instructions below.

Please include brief biographical information for each member so we can include it in the festival literature (optional).
This information must be provided to the festival organizers by April 13, or you band may not be allowed to participate. Sets should be no longer than 10 minutes. Please include credits and copyright information for each song.

Registration Fees

Band registration fees must be post-marked no later than March 30th to avoid potential disqualification.

Bands may pay their $50 registration fee quickly and securely via PayPal, even if they do not have a PayPal account.

Please ensure this is the name under which your band registered.
